The Whale Museum in Friday Harbor is a very popular San Juan
Island Attraction. Tour the Whale Museum. The Whale Museum promotes stewardship
of whales through education and research, they put on many programs, which increases
the public's understanding and appreciation of the marine life. The Whale Museum
is a non-profit organization, Support the research. They keep information on
important issues facing the Orcas including whale watching guideline information.
You can become a Whale Museum Member. The Whale Museum has an Orca Whale Adoption
Program. There is a whale hotline, you can view the whale hotline, and view
recent sightings of whales. Visit the Museum Whale Store, Get Educational Games,
Marine Mammal Art, Music & Whale Recordings, Plush Toys, Resources for Educators,
Calendars, Videos, all purchases contribute to the Whale Museum's mission of
research and education about the Orca Whales.

the San Juan Islands!
You can
take a tour of the San Juan Islands waterways and tour the ferry serviced islands
by the Washington State Ferry! When you purchase your WSF ticket you are paying
for a round trip ticket. You pay to go West. Ex: Let's say your going to San
Juan Island ( farthest island West) rather than go straight back to Anacortes
you would like to visit Orcas Island, there is no charge for using the inter-island
WSF (eastbound ) you can get off the ferry at Orcas Island, stay as long as
you want on Orcas Island, then get back on any ferry bound for Anacortes or
